A seat that is a full 1" thick, and roomy at 16 ½" deep x 18 ½" wide. We use mortise and tenon construction at every joint to insure sturdiness. Also a rack is provided underneath for storage of books or other belongings. All edges are eased for a smooth and streamline appearance. 17.5" Chair.
